What is your favorite thing about our region?

My favorite thing about Greater Hartford is the sense of  community―being a part of such a caring, thoughtful, and proud collection of people from all walks is such a hopeful and inspiring thing to get to witness.

What is your favorite quote?

I live my life hoping to never stop caring for others as much as I care for myself. Empathy is so powerful and can teach us as much about others as it does us. A quote that best represents my personal philosophy is; “Because what you find to be beautiful, funny and heartbreaking in this world… is what I find to be beautiful, funny and heartbreaking in this world.” ― Yumi Sakugawa

What do you like to do outside of work?

Outside of work I most enjoy creating on my own time by constantly working on my skills in digital illustration and graphic design by trying to bring my ideas to life whether it’s something I’ve been sitting on or a sudden burst of inspiration.

What might we not know about you?

I am a member of the Otoe-Missouria tribe and The Keetoowah Band of Cherokees. I’m proud to represent my community in all that I do.
