Sara is a 2023 graduate of UConn with a degree in Global Health. She was a recipient of the Drs. Nima Patel and Daniel McNaughton Scholarship four-year award.  She worked as a student researcher at Yale Center for Outcomes Research and Evaluations and was an undergraduate assistant at UConn Sustainability Community Foods Systems Program. She co-founded UConn’s Coalition Against Human Trafficking, Huskies for Human Rights and UConn’s Black Muslim Association, and held leadership roles in each of these organizations.
