Melissa Marsh joined the Foundation in May 2025 as a Program Manager for the Greater Together Community Funds team. Melissa works alongside town volunteer committees to foster diverse thriving communities.

She is a seasoned nonprofit and human services professional with over a decade of experience designing and delivering high-impact training, program management, and child life services. With a strong foundation in psychology, education, and project management, she combines data-driven insights with a strength-based approach to empower teams, enhance customer experiences, and drive organizational success. Most recently, she worked as the Training and Development Consultant Manager at the Crisis Prevention Institute where she partnered with hospitals, schools, and other human service organizations to provide behavior de-escalation and prevention training to their staff.

Melissa received her Master's in Child Life from Bank Street College and her Bachelor's in Accounting from the University of Connecticut.

What do you enjoy most about Greater Hartford?

What I love most about Greater Hartford is that there is always something new to experience or explore. Whether it's hiking and enjoying the outdoors, trying a new restaurant, seeing a play or show, or checking out a museum - there's always something to do!

Are you involved in any volunteer activities?

Yes, I love volunteering for family weekends at the Hole in the Wall Gang Camp and have been involved with them since 2010.
