Meher oversees several of the Nonprofit Support Program’s programs and services including Technical Assistance Grants, the Executive Transition Program, Social Enterprise Accelerator, workshops and in-depth learning opportunities.

With a dedicated career in the nonprofit sector, Meher previously spent several years working with United Way and later ran a grassroots community organizing initiative. She earned her master’s degree in public and private management.

What do you enjoy most about Greater Hartford?
I love the diverse range of options that the region and City of Hartford offer – from an exciting and growing number of attractions, events and culinary treats, to beautiful scenic areas in which to ride a tandem bike!

Are you involved in any volunteer activities?
I’ve been involved in volunteer activities, including services for the blind and elderly, CT Public Broadcasting and delivering books to homebound people.
