As a Senior Community Impact Officer, part of the Nonprofit Support Program team, Lucas works collaboratively to design and direct strategies to support small agencies and nonprofits throughout the region. Lucas plays a key role in coordinating DEI support to non-profits as well as supporting the implementation of organizational assessments.

As a community organizer at heart, Lucas is a relationship-builder and passionate about using his positionality to leverage resources for and with communities of color. Lucas previously served as Senior Manager of Partnerships and Advocacy for the Nellie Mae Education Foundation and founding Executive Director of Connecticut Students for a Dream.

Lucas is a proud Husky (UCONN Graduate).

What do you enjoy most about Greater Hartford?
I have always admired how culturally rich and diverse the region is – as a new Hartford resident, I hope to explore more of the region, mostly through food!
