Johana Rendon Ledesma

Johana joined the Hartford Foundation as a Community Impact Officer in October 2022. In her role, she draws from her K-12 education and family and community engagement experience to support the Employment Opportunities and Civic and Resident Engagement outcome teams. Johana has a background in program development and strategy in collaboration with K-12 institutions and nonprofits across the state. She has a background in refugee and immigrant populations in Bridgeport and has served as Community Partnerships Manager at Girls Who Code. Most recently, Johana worked as a Community Engagement Specialist at the CT Rise Network where she partnered with high schools and districts across the region. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Sociology and Education from Fairfield University.

What do you enjoy most about Greater Hartford?
What I enjoy most about the Greater Hartford area is the young people across the region who inspire and pave the way for our future.

I serve as a high school student mentor and serve on the board of trustees of my all-girls high
school alma mater.
