Doretta came to the Foundation in 2015, supporting a number of communications and marketing efforts. Her primary focus is on external communications, ranging from advertising and sponsorships to the annual report and telling stories of impact.

Prior to joining the Foundation, Doretta held a number of communications and marketing roles in the insurance and financial services sector including corporate marketing, brand management, advertising, customer experience and internal communications.

What do you enjoy most about Greater Hartford?
I’ve lived in Greater Hartford most of my life, but I continue to find new things to do: places to eat, museums to visit, parks to explore, and soccer teams to cheer.

Are you involved in any volunteer activities?
When I’m not baking, crocheting, or playing with our family dog, I volunteer by crocheting things like prayer shawls and supporting our town's high school art program.
