Hartford Foundation Officer Named to ‘40 Under Forty’

The Hartford Foundation for Public Giving is pleased to announce that Jennyfer A. Holmes has been selected as a member of the Hartford Business Journal’s 40 Under Forty class of 2015.

The 40 Under Forty Awards recognize “outstanding young professionals in the Greater Hartford area that are excelling in their industries through their leadership roles.”

Ms. Holmes, of New Britain, joined the Hartford Foundation in 2012 as the scholarship and donor services officer. She oversees a scholarship program that annually awards more than $1.2 million in college scholarships to more than 600 Greater Hartford students attending approximately 100 colleges and universities. The scholarships are awarded through more than 100 funds created at the Hartford Foundation by individuals, families and organizations. Many of these donors create scholarship funds and also support the General Scholarship Endowment Fund at the Hartford Foundation.

Ms. Holmes and the other honorees will be celebrated by the Hartford Business Journal at an awards ceremony at the Connecticut Convention Center on Sept. 30. Visit HartfordBusiness.com to read Ms. Holmes’ 40 Under Forty profile.
