THE JUDY DWORIN PERFORMANCE PROJECT
The Judy Dworin Performance Project is an award-winning organization whose work on stage, in schools and in prison communities sparks awareness about social issues and provides compelling experiences through multi-arts performance and residencies in the community.
HartBeat Ensemble creates provocative theater that connects our community beyond the traditional barriers of class, race, geography, and gender through original full-length works that tell extraordinary stories of ordinary people. They also run education programs that address bullying prevention, art-based curriculum integration, and the Youth Play Institute.
Daniel Salazar is an internationally praised classical guitarist, with a repertoire that expands the boundaries of traditional and original works with a fusion of Spanish, Latin American, world music, and orchestral elements. He is the founder of the annual Guitar Under the Stars outdoor concert, and a faculty member at the University of Connecticut, Manchester Community College, and the Greater Hartford Academy of the Arts. Tonight, enjoy two of his original compositions, featuring his ensemble and East Hartford High School student, Dominic Migliore.

Live event doodling
Watch as Constanza Segovia captures observations from the evening and turns them into a compelling snapshot of the event. This method of recording insights is one of the emerging tools for impactful convenings.
Constanza Segovia is Hartford’s official “live doodler.” She is a designer, illustrator, visiting lecturer of design at Trinity College and Tunxis Community College, and founder of VEO VEO Design, a studio focused on helping people understand what visual communication can do to improve the world around them.
