What do you enjoy most about Greater Hartford?
Through my work at the Foundation, I have met incredible people that are doing amazing work across the region. I relocated to Greater Hartford from Cambridge, Massachusetts, and I am getting to know the area and my new colleagues through a great local food scene and fantastic community events. I have also been fortunate to experience the riverfront, the city and the foliage in the surrounding communities. The energy here in Hartford is palpable, and it is exciting to be in the midst of it.
What quote best represents your personal philosophy?
As a child, I was introduced to Khalil Gibran by my mother and his writings have heavily influenced my life philosophy. In The Prophet, there is a quote, "Work is love made visible," that I truly believe reflects why many of us have chosen a career in the nonprofit sector.
