Betsy joined the Foundation in January 2008 as an associate for the Nonprofit Support Program (NSP). Her systems building, project management and communications skills contribute to supporting NSP’s mission to strengthen the capacity of nonprofit organizations in Greater Hartford to achieve their missions and address community needs.

Previously, Betsy worked as Curator of Manuscripts and Graphics for the Worcester Historical Society, as a senior paralegal for a Hartford-based law firm, and as an associate for a Farmington-based fund development firm.

What do you enjoy most about Greater Hartford?
Hartford and surrounding towns offer a rich variety of cultural experiences, with easy access to travel opportunities in the region and beyond. Years ago, while in college, a classmate remarked about all that Hartford offers, something I remembered when our family relocated to the Hartford area. I have not been disappointed!
