What do you enjoy most about Greater Hartford?
I so enjoy the combination of city life and country life which Greater Hartford offers. The many wild creatures in our backyard, the bounty of the local farm stands, and beautiful views along the many hiking trails in the area are just a few examples of the region’s rural treasures which I and my family enjoy. Just a few miles down the road, we can visit exhibits at wonderful arts and culture organizations, have a delicious dinner with friends at many interesting and varied restaurants or attend a fun sports event!

Are you involved in any volunteer activities?
Over the years, my volunteer activities have focused on various aspects of education. I have been an active admissions and fundraising volunteer for my alma mater and previously volunteered in the Farmington Public Schools. I have also served as a board member and as Commodore of a sailing education program for children on Cuttyhunk Island in Massachusetts. I currently serve on the board of Webb Institute, a private engineering college specializing in naval architecture and marine engineering, which offers full-tuition scholarships to its students.
