Field of Interest Funds

With a Field of Interest Fund, you can specify an interest area, population, or town to benefit from your fund. The Hartford Foundation’s staff will annually identify organizations performing most effectively within your focus. Field of Interest funds combine your interests with flexibility to respond to changing needs and organizations.

If you have a particular charitable goal or cause you want to support, establishing a Field of Interest fund with a gift of $10,000 or more can provide the vehicle for that type of giving. The Hartford Foundation will apply its expertise about highest priorities and quality organizations working in the field that you describe, and award grants from your fund accordingly.
