Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center in Hartford received a $472,533 grant from the Hartford Foundation to help establish the Curtis D. Robinson Men's Health Institute. The center will address prostate cancer among African-American men. Foundation president Linda J. Kelly (second from right) attended the announcement.

John Donahue, shown with wife, Barbara, and two of their three children, Jane and Tim, was honored for his philanthropic/legal contributions to the Hartford Foundation with the creation of a fund in his name. John helped with key projects, including co-founding the first professional advisory committee.

Students from Noah Webster School in Hartford participate in Museum on the Move, an arts education and outreach program for fourth-graders created by the Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art and Hartford Public Schools. Students enhance their visual and language art skills through in-class lessons, demonstrations and a museum field trip. The Foundation awarded $110,980 to support the program.
