JoAnn H. Price of Avon has been appointed to the Foundation’s board of directors.  JoAnn is a founding partner and president of Fairview Capital Partners, Incorporated, headquartered in West Hartford. At Fairview, Price was instrumental in establishing a community-giving program that encourages staff to be actively involved in community, arts, cultural, health care and education institutions as a corollary to the company’s giving program.

John Wohler of Glastonbury has been named chair of the professional advisory committee.  A tax partner with J.H. Cohn, John is responsible for the Connecticut tax practice.  He specializes in state and federal tax issues and directs the Connecticut office’s individual and corporate tax planning.  John has been a member of the Foundation’s professional advisory committee since 2008.
