Join a Giving Circle

Giving Circles are attracting people who want to make a difference in their community, meet others with similar goals and learn about key issues affecting residents of a particular area.  Two giving circles, offered by the Hartford Foundation, provide such opportunities for people in this region.

Catalyst members enjoy learning in-depth about issues affecting our region.

The Catalyst Endowment Fund, created in 1993, explores a new topic each year, including land use trends in the region, food security, access to health services, and financial literacy.

The Latino Endowment Fund, created in 2003, focuses on topics of specific interest to the Latino community and is currently exploring ways to address the education achievement gap.
