Bernard Blum Fund, a donor-advised fund created by the partners of Blum Shapiro of West Hartford and Southport, in memory of Bernard "Bernie" Blum of Bloomfield.
Michael and Naomi Cohen "Prophet Micah" Fund, a donor-advised fund created for their sons to follow Micah's teaching "to do justice and love kindness" by recommending grants that support disabilities programming.
Wilber B. and Margaret G. Crimmin Fund, an unrestricted fund established by the late Margaret G. Crimmin of West Hartford, through her will.
Evelyn L. Crosby Fund, an unrestricted fund established by the late Evelyn Crosby of Bloomfield, with the residual proceeds of two charitable gift annuities and through Miss Crosby's estate plans.
James S. and Lois A. Dailey Fund, an unrestricted fund established by James "Jim" and Lois Dailey of West Hartford.
Lawrence C. Davis Memorial Fund, a donor-advised fund created by the partners of Blum Shapiro of West Hartford, in memory of Lawrence "Larry" Davis, of South Windsor.
Gladys B. and Robert E. Dunn Fund for Youth Leadership, a preference fund established by Gladys and Robert Dunn of West Hartford, to support local, national and international education and leadership experiences for deserving young people with financial need in the Greater Hartford area.
KJ Foster Scholarship Fund, established by Janice and Kerry Foster of Hartford, in memory of their son, Kerry "KJ" Foster, Jr., to provide support for Hartford area students, with a particular focus on graduates from public high schools in Hartford.
Richard P. Garmany Fund, a donor-advised fund established by the late Richard Garmany of Avon, through his will, naming a close friend as the fund advisor to recommend grants for charitable causes in the Greater Hartford region.
Irving Goldberg Latin Scholar Fund, established by the late Dr. Linda Seligman of West Hartford, through a trust in Dr. Seligman's estate, to provide scholarships with a preference for students from Conard High School who studied or will study Latin.
Ilene and Marty Kaplan Fund for PLAN of Connecticut a designated fund to support Planned Lifetime Assistance Network's mission to assist families of children with disabilities, and the Ilene and Marty Kaplan Scholarship Fund, to support electrical engineering students, established by Martin "Marty" Kaplan of Avon.
Thomas M. Meredith Fund, a donor-advised fund established by the late Thomas Meredith of Hartford and Green Hill, Rhode Island, through his retirement plan assets, naming his daughter and two sons to advise on grants to address needs in the Greater Hartford region.
Planned Lifetime Assistance Network of Connecticut, Inc. Fund, a designated fund established by Susan and Jack Ritchie of Salisbury, for services provided to families of children with disabilities to prepare for the future. Through this gift, the Ritchies have made it possible for the organization to participate in the Foundation's Planned Giving Partnership Program.
PLANNED GIFTS
D. Stephen Gaffney of Avon, established a charitable gift annuity. Eighty-five percent of the charitable remainder interest will benefit the ARC of the Farmington Valley Endowment Fund and the balance will provide unrestricted support through the Foundation's general grantmaking.
Anastasia Kalvoda of West Hartford, established a charitable gift annuity. The charitable remainder interest will create the Josef and Anastasia Kalvoda Fund, a designated fund to provide support for the ARC of the Farmington Valley, Inc. |
