Grant Alert Plus www.uwcact.org This periodic email contains time-sensitive information on funding, training and other opportunities for area nonprofits. Federal Agency Funding Information www.grants.gov Managed by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, grants.gov is a source to find and apply for various federal government grants.
Federal Register The Federal Register is the official daily publication for rules, proposed rules and notices of federal agencies and organizations, as well as executive orders and other presidential documents. Grant information from federal agencies is included; some requests for proposals include nonprofit organizations as eligible applicants. For more information, visit www.gpoaccess.gov. State of Connecticut Funding Opportunities and Other Resources

Community Economic Development Fund CEDF provides grants and technical assistance to organizations starting community development planning and developing projects. Grants range from $1,000 to $20,000. For more information on available grants, visit: http://cedf.com/grants.htm.
Commission on Culture and Tourism The Commission has a variety of grant opportunities for nonprofits. Funding areas include the arts, film, historic preservation, and tourism. For more details and access to applications and guidelines, visit: www.cultureandtourism.org.
Department of Agriculture For more information regarding funding in such areas of land and historic preservation, affordable housing, and other areas for nonprofit organizations, visit: www.ct.gov (click on Business Assistance & Development).
Department of Correction (DOC) DOC provides funding to private and community-based organizations. To access information on request for proposals and guidelines, go to: www.ct.gov.
Department of Economic and Community Development (DECD) Administered by DECD, the Housing Trust Fund provides loans or grants to eligible nonprofits. For eligibility and program descriptions, visit: products.cerc.com.
