Get Involved
As a Hartford Foundation donor, you’re already partnering with us to improve the quality of life for residents of the Greater Hartford region. But we know you share our desire to do even more. Here are some ways to get more involved with the Hartford Foundation, learn more about our community, and meet others who share your values.
Experience the work of area nonprofits first-hand on a "Seeing is Believing" bus tour.

- Join a giving circle. The Catalyst Endowment Fund and Latino Endowment Fund are excellent ways to learn about key issues affecting our region.
- Attend a bus tour. Learn first-hand how area nonprofits are changing lives through our "Seeing is Believing" tours. Contact Maggie Willard (860-548-1888 x1020, mwillard@hfpg.org) to learn more.
- Invite a Hartford Foundation representative to speak to your group. Whether you want to learn more about how to craft a giving plan, or how the Foundation works to support nonprofits in the region, we are happy to tailor a presentation to fit your needs. Contact Lori Rabb (860-548-1888 x1028, lrabb@hfpg.org) to learn more.
- Ask about our volunteer committees. The Foundation is grateful for the volunteers on our committees, who help us track community giving trends and reach new donors, interview scholarship applicants, or help guide the direction of our giving circles.
Contact Betty Ann Grady, 860-548-1888 x1041, bagrady@hfpg.org, to find out if serving on one of our committees is right for you.
