Linda joined the Foundation in October 2005 after serving as a Commissioner of the Connecticut Department of Public Utility Control, following an extensive career in banking. An attorney, active in the Hartford region, Linda has served a variety of area nonprofit and civic organizations, often as board president. She is a graduate of the University of North Carolina-Greensboro and University of Connecticut School of Law.

A graduate of Colgate University and the University of Washington School of Social Work (MSW), Chris came to the Foundation in 1990 having worked in program planning and policy development for children and family issues, both in Connecticut and California for more than two decades.

Donna E. Jolly

Prior to joining the Foundation in 1999, Donna served in communications and public relations positions at several state agencies, including the Connecticut Department of Children and Families, as well as at the American Lung Association of Connecticut and corporate office of Ames Department Stores.

Maria joined the Foundation in 2009 with extensive experience in the philanthropic and nonprofit sector, with such organizations as the William Caspar Graustein Memorial Fund and Bridgeport Futures Initiative, and as a nonprofit consultant. Maria earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Yale University.

Lori joined the Hartford Foundation after a 17-year career working with donors at major nonprofit organizations, including the Jewish Theological Seminary of America, the Jewish Community Foundation of Greater Hartford, the Jewish Federation of Greater Hartford, and Women's American ORT.

A graduate of Baruch College and Baruch Graduate School (MBA), Virgil came to the Foundation in 1994 with over 20 years experience in public accounting and financial management, most recently as a partner at Mitchell, Titus & Co. in New York, one of the nation's largest minority-owned CPA firms.
